Charlestown Reach Under 16 Connaught Cup Final

Congratulations are extended to Charlestown Athletic after they overcame stiff opposition in Corofin United from Galway to reach the Under 16 Connaught Final. Goals from Kiefer Craig, Marty Owens and Darragh Sheil gave Charlestown a deserved 3-1 victory.
Charlestown now face the winners of the Mervue versus Ballyheane semi final in Strandhill Sligo next Saturday.
Also involved in the finals are Castlebar Celtic in the Under 18 Final, Ballina in the Under 18 Shield Final. All finals will take place over two days next weekend in Strandhill.
