Colm Nevin Strike Sinks Port Vale

Castlebar Celtic striker Colm Nevin was the hero in a tough battle this afternoon against Port Vale. The diminutive forward latched on to a through ball from Lionel Jordan to blast a half volley into the roof of the net for the games only goal.

Mayo found this afternoons match a bit tougher against a very physical Port vale side and were glad to come away with the victory.

Tomorrow will bring a hectic schedule with three games in all. First up is Cambridge United followed by Portsmouth and then Burton Albion.
