Leagues Set to Kick Off: The 2007-2008 season will be kicking off with the Blackfort Machinery Girls U.12 League on Monday 2nd April, followed by the Blackfort Machinery Girls U.14 League on Tuesday 3rd April. The Dalton Inn Hotel U.14 League will commence on Wednesday April 4th and the AIB U.12 League will get underway on Friday 6th April. All players must be registered with Michael Fox, League Registrar, at least 24 hours before kick off and also, all affiliation fees must be received by Brian Johnson, League Treasurer, at least 24 hours before kick off.

Chairman and Secretaries Meeting: Will take place in the Travellers’ Friend Hotel, Castlebar on Thursday 29th March at 8:00. The agenda on the night is to discuss the amendments to the proposed MSGYAFL Rule Book. All clubs must be represented or a fine will be levied for failure to show.

FAI Summer Soccer Camps: The following dates and venues have been confirmed for Mayo during the summer of 2007.

Another Cap for David Joyce: Birmingham City’s and former Castlebar Celtic defender, David Joyce was capped again for his country in the 2-1 win over Scotland.

Vote of Sympathy: Has been extended to the Kenny family, Ballina, on their recent bereavement.

Purchasing Goalposts: The FAI has now in place a recommended goalpost supplier. Following a tender process, Goalpost Ireland has been selected as the recommended goalpost supplier for all affiliates of the FAI.

In relation to small-sided goalposts, these will still be subsidised by the FAI but should be purchased directly from Goalpost Ireland, Tallow, Co. Waterford.

LMC Meeting: Will take place in the Welcome Inn Hotel, Castlebar on Tuesday 27th March at 8:45. All committee members are asked to attend.
